Compare two loans
To compare two offers, the nominal rate and the payment are not enough: compare the real APR and the total outlay, which include fees and insurance. A loan with a lower rate but higher costs can end up more expensive.
better offer = lower total outlay · and lower real APR

How to compare properly
Enter both offers with the same principal and the same term. For each one, add the opening fee, the appraisal, the paperwork and the monthly insurance. The result shows which has the lower real APR and how much less it costs in total.
A lower monthly payment can mislead: a lower payment over a longer term usually costs more interest overall.

What should I compare between two loans?
The real APR, the total outlay and the term. The payment alone is not enough because it depends on the term.
Can I compare a loan with a deposit?
Not on this page. Capital has a separate deposit comparison that compares the net interest of two products.
What if one offer has mandatory insurance?
Enter its monthly cost: it is added to every payment and goes into the real APR, which is exactly what you should compare.
