How to read it
The interest column falls every month because it is calculated on a shrinking debt; the principal column rises by the same amount, and the total payment does not change. That is why the early years repay so little.
Capital builds this same schedule, yearly and monthly, and you can send it as a PDF report with Capital Pro.

What is an amortization schedule?
A table that shows, payment by payment, how much goes to interest, how much to principal and how much is left to pay.
Why do I pay so much interest at the start?
Because interest is calculated on the outstanding debt, which is largest at the start. As you repay, the interest falls.
Does the schedule include fees and insurance?
No: it is the loan’s schedule. To see what it costs with fees and insurance, use the real APR calculator.
